Global Coalition sends military reinforcements to bases in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition forces dispatched on Monday military and logistical reinforcements to bases in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, marking the second such deployment within a week.
A military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) at the Conoco oil field, north of Deir ez-Zor, told North Press that dozens of trucks carrying military and logistical supplies arrived at the Coalition base there, coming from Iraq.
The source added that just two days earlier, the Coalition had sent another convoy of 30 trucks loaded with equipment and supplies to its base at the al-Omar oil field.
He emphasized that coordination between the SDF and Coalition forces remains strong, with joint patrols conducted almost daily and military exercises held periodically.
