Turkish forces remove military post in Syria’s Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces removed on Monday their military post in the city of Afrin, northwestern Syria.
Local sources told North Press that the Turkish forces, which were stationed near the Rajo road checkpoint located near the Mahmoudiya neighborhood in Afrin, removed the military post.
They added that the military post for the Turkish forces had been canceled a week ago and its personnel were withdrawn by the General Security forces of the caretaker government, which has become the security authority controlling the Afrin area.
