Turkish shelling on Syria’s Kobani injures 9 civilians including children

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – A woman and eight children were injured on Saturday when Turkish forces and affiliated SNA factions bombarded a village in Kobani in northern Syria.  

A local source told North Press that seven artillery shells struck three homes in the village of Ashma in Kobani countryside, causing severe damage.

One house collapsed entirely, while two others sustained significant destruction.

The wounded were transported to Kobani and Amal hospitals, where three of them underwent surgery due to critical injuries.

This attack comes just a week after a Turkish drone strike targeted Ashma, injuring 10 people, including five children.

The injured from last werk’s shelling have been identified as: Jilan Hamo (2 years old), Ismail Saleh Hamo (3), Muslim Yasser Habash (13), Ibrahim Muhammad Habash (14), Muhammad Yasser Habash (15), Rudi Muhammad Habash (15), Ibrahim Saleh Hamo (17), Huda Saleh Hamo (17), and Aisha Jamal Ismail (28).
