DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A weapons depot belonging to the former Syrian regime exploded on Sunday at the foot of Mount Harabesh in Deir ez-Zor city, eastern Syria.
A local source told North Press that a powerful explosion occurred in an underground weapons depot linked to the former regime, located within one of its military facilities on the slopes of Mount Harabesh in Deir ez-Zor, an area under the control of Syria’s new administration.
The source added that no casualties have been reported so far.
Civil defense teams and security forces have been dispatched to the site to assess the situation and implement necessary precautionary measures.
