SDF arrests wanted individuals in Deir ez-Zor raids
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested on Wednesday night several individuals who carried out attacks in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A military source close to the SDF told North Press that SDF patrols raided the town of Abu Hamam, targeting hideouts and residences linked to remnants of the ousted regime and members of the National Defense Forces (NDF) militias.
According to the source, three suspects were arrested, and weapons and ammunition were discovered in their possession.
On Wednesday, SDF patrols conducted similar operations in the cities of Hajin and al-Busayrah, also in eastern Deir ez-Zor. During these raids, four wanted individuals were arrested, and additional weapons and ammunition were seized.
