Several Civilians Killed in Turkish Drone Strike in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – At least eight civilians, including children, were killed and 20 others injured on Tuesday when a Turkish drone targeted a vegetable market in the town of Sirrin, south of Kobani, according to local sources and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The SDF released a statement earlier in the day, confirming the strike on the busy market in Sirrin. The attack caused extensive casualties, with victims including children and local residents.
Details of the Attack
A local source in Sirrin told North Press that eight civilians lost their lives in the strike, with many others injured. The source emphasized that children were among the deceased and wounded in the densely populated area.
Medical sources in Kobani hospitals later confirmed the arrival of three deceased civilians, including two children, and seven injured individuals, some of whom remain in critical condition.

- Mohammad Ahmad al-Ali (6 years old)
- Ahmad Issa al-Ali (28 years old)
