Turkish shelling kills 3 including child in northeast Syria
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Three people, including a child, were killed on Monday night in Turkish shelling targeting the northern countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
A resident of the village of Umm Harmla told North Press that Turkish forces heavily bombarded Umm Harmla and neighbouring villages throughout the night, continuing into the early hours of the morning.
The shelling resulted in the killing of two adults and a child from the same family. Four women were also injured in the attack and were transported to hospitals in Hasakah city for treatment.
Earlier on Monday, the Turkish forces shelled a fuel distribution station near the village of al-Rabiat in Zargan’s (Abu Rasin) countryside using heavy artillery.
