Residents of Syria’s Qamishli protest Turkish attacks, support SDF
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Hundreds of residents from the town of Tel Hamis in southern Qamishli staged a protest on Wednesday condemning Turkish attacks and their affiliated SNA factions targeting civilians near the Tishrin Dam.
The demonstration also expressed support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

She added, “Our message is directed to the international community and humanitarian organizations, urging them to take immediate action to stop Turkey’s attacks on civilians and the Tishrin Dam.”
Abdullah also called on the Global Coalition to intervene and halt the Turkish aggression, labeling the attacks on civilians at Tishrin Dam as “a crime against humanity.”
Faraj Ibrahim al-Hamoud, a prominent elder of the Bu Ghalib tribe in Tel Hamis, stated: “We strongly condemn any attack on individuals in northeastern Syria. We firmly believe in political solutions.”
He continued, “We are gathered here to voice our support for the Syrian Democratic Forces, who have sacrificed their lives so that we can live in peace.”
