Turkish drone targets civilians at Syria’s Tishrin Dam leaving casualties
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone targeted on Tuesday a gathering of civilians at Tishrin Dam in northern Syria reportedly injuring several people.
The civilians gathered at Tishrin Dam, some 90 km east of Aleppo city, to condemn Turkish recent aggression on the region of north and northeast Syria.
Local sources reported that the strike resulted in several injuries, including four journalists.
Earlier on Tuesday, residents of Qamishli held a funeral procession for seven individuals killed in the recent Turkish airstrikes on Tishrin Dam, including six civilians.
On Jan. 19, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) condemned Turkey’s attacks on civilians who had gathered at Tishrin Dam to support the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), labeling it a “war crime.”
