Global Coalition forces conduct patrols, drills in Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition forces conducted on Monday night patrols and military exercises in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.

A military source told North Press that Coalition forces patrolled the areas of Diban and Hajin in the eastern countryside. The operations were accompanied by the presence of warplanes and drones monitoring the skies.

The source added that the Coalition conducted military drills at its base in the al-Omar oil field. The exercises involved the use of illumination flares, live ammunition, and artillery shells, showcasing their operational readiness in the region.

Additionally, on Monday, coalition forces patrolled the areas surrounding the Tanak oil field and the Abu Hamam desert. These operations, which lasted for several hours, concluded with the forces returning to their base at the al-Omar oil field.
