Landmine blast injures 4 farmers in Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Four farmers were injured on Tuesday when a landmine detonated in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.

A local source from the town of Abu Kamal told North Press that the explosion occurred when a vehicle was traveling toward the desert near the village of al-Heri, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, to inspect agricultural crops.

The source confirmed that four farmers from al-Heri were injured in the incident, with one of them identified as Amir Abdul Fattah.

He noted that all the injured are in very critical condition and were transferred to al-Fayhaa Hospital in the town of Abu Kamal.
