DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The French Armed Forces announced on Tuesday the execution of airstrikes targeting Islamic State (ISIS) sites within Syrian territory.
French Minister of Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu, stated the strikes, conducted on Dec. 29, were part of ongoing efforts to track down members of the terrorist group and enhance security in the region.
He emphasized that French forces are collaborating closely with international partners to ensure the dismantling of terrorist networks that continue to pose a threat to global security.
The Lecornu did not provide further details about the specific targets or the outcomes of the operation.
