DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Several casualties were reported on Sunday after a series of explosions occurred at weapons depots near Adra Industrial City in the countryside of Damascus.
Local media reported that powerful explosions shook a former regime-controlled weapons storage site near the industrial zone, causing widespread destruction.
Initial reports suggest the explosions were likely the result of an Israeli strike, with preliminary figures indicating the killing of two individuals and significant damage to the depots.
Other sources reported the killing of five individuals and additional material damage when an Israeli drone allegedly targeted commercial shops in the vicinity of Adra Industrial City.
Since the fall of the ousted regime, Israeli forces have repeatedly launched strikes on former Syrian military sites, targeting ammunition stockpiles, missile depots, and military airbases.
