SDF kills 5 SNA militants in northeastern Syria 

Sere Kaniye, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Sunday the killing of more than five militants of the Turkish-backed armed factions, aka the Syria National Army (SNA), in the northern countryside of Hasakah in northeastern Syria.

In an official statement published on its website, the SDF said that the Sere Kaniye Military Council, a component of the SDF, conducted a series of deliberate and strategic operations aimed at Turkish bases and affiliated factions in the vicinity of the city.

In one early-morning operation, an SDF unit infiltrated positions held by the SNA factions in the village of Rihaniyah in the countryside of Sere Kaniye. After intense clashes, five SNA militants were killed, the SDF added.

On a separate front, the SDF forces attacked armed faction positions in the village of al-Qasimiyah, resulting in additional casualties, though exact numbers remain unspecified.

The SDF fighters launched another attack on the village of al-Dibs, targeting Turkish military installations and the SNA factions in nearby villages, including al-Aziziyah, al-Arisha, Arbahin, Martyr Delsheir Hill, al-Manakh, and al-Kunir.

The SDF emphasized that no losses were incurred among their forces during these operations, underscoring their precision and effectiveness.
