Global Coalition conducts inspections in Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS carried out on Friday inspections of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) military positions along the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.

These operations were conducted via a military patrol under the cover of intense air patrols.

A military source told North Press that the Coalition forces patrolled areas from Abu Hamam to Hajin, visiting and inspecting several SDF military points.

On Dec. 26, the Coalition forces focused on the riverbank between the town of Shuhail and the village of al-Jarzi, where they similarly visited multiple SDF positions.

The source revealed that the Coalition’s activities included assessing the conditions of SDF fighters and conducting reconnaissance missions around the military sites.
