Airstrikes intensifying in Idlib, Aleppo amid escalating clashes

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Syrian government warplanes conducted on Sunday a series of airstrikes, targeting multiple locations in Idlib and Aleppo.

In Idlib, airstrikes hit several areas, including Arab Telhedyah camp, where the Civil Defense reported seven fatalities and 12 injuries. Rescue operations remain challenging, with individuals still trapped under rubble.

Aleppo city also faced intense bombardment, with strikes targeting key locations such as Qadi Askar roundabout, Sakhour roundabout, and Sheikh Taha near the Criminal Security Branch.

Limited emergency services in these areas have hindered efforts to assist the injured, and casualty figures for Aleppo remain unconfirmed.

The escalation follows heightened clashes in Hama, where local media reported that the government forces successfully intercepted and downed a drone near Masyaf in the west of the city.
