SNA factions launch “limited operation” toward Aleppo – Turkish sources

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Reuters cited on Thursday Turkish security sources that opposition groups in northwestern Syria launched a “limited operation” toward Aleppo after government airstrikes and artillery.

The Turkish sources said that the operation lies within the Idlib de-escalation zone.

In an exclusive statement to North Press, Omar Rahmoun, reconciliation official of the Syrian government denied claims the attack targeted Iranian positions, asserting that if that were the goal, the factions would have focused on Nubl and Zahraa towns instead of towns like Saraqib and Dadikh.

He described the attack as part of “Western pressure” on Russia and Damascus, with Turkish and Qatari support.
