Turkish shelling in Syria’s Manbij causes damage
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), launched on Tuesday morning artillery and mortar attacks on the countryside of Manbij, northern Syria, causing significant material damage.
The Manbij Military Council, a component of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said that the Turkish forces and SNA factions shelled the villages of al-Farat and Arab Hassan in the countryside of Manbij.
The Council stated that the shelling in al-Farat struck a civilian home, causing substantial material damage.
Manbij has been under persistent Turkish bombardment, with ongoing shelling using mortars and artillery, alongside repeated attempts to infiltrate nearby villages.
