Syria condemns Israeli attacks on Damascus

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Monday the Israeli attack that targeted sites south of Damascus.

The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry urged, via the State-run news agency SANA, “member states of the United Nations to take firm measures to stop the Israeli attacks on its lands.”

The ministry added that the “continuation of these attacks comes as a result of the failure to take any serious action to curb the entity and stop its violations,” the statement read.

Earlier, Israel targeted a number of sites south of Damascus including the area of Sayida Zainab.
