Gunmen kill 3 Syrian soldiers in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unknown gunmen killed on Saturday night three soldiers of the Syrian government forces in two separate incidents in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
According to a government military source, unidentified gunmen stormed the home of Iyad al-As’ad, a member of the Division 17, near the entrance to the town of Abu Kamal in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The gunmen shot al-As’ad directly, resulting in his immediate death.
The source added that another attack occurred in the town of Mahkan in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
He noted that two gunmen on a motorcycle targeted two members of the Fourth Armored Division of the government forces with machine guns on the main road in the town, killing them instantly.
