War remnant blast kills 2 brothers in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Two people were killed and another from the same family was injured on Thursday in an explosion of a remnant of war in the countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.

A local source told North Press that both Na’im and Ahmad Khaled al-Hariri were killed, and their brother Walid was wounded due to the explosion of a remnant of war in the town of Dael.

The three siblings were working in one of the agricultural fields surrounding Dael when the explosion occurred.

Daraa, like many other areas in Syria, continues to suffer from the lingering presence of unexploded ordnance from years of warfare. These deadly remnants pose a constant threat to local residents, particularly children, who are often the most vulnerable to such hazards.
