Turkish airstrikes hit near ISIS prison in far NE Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces bombed on Saturday morning the vicinity of a prison housing detainees of the Islamic State (ISIS) in the city of Derik in far northeastern Syria, injuring four women.
A Turkish drone targeted an industrial site near the prison holding ISIS militants in Derik.
Additionally, four women working at a dairy and cheese factory in Derik were also injured in the drone strike on the factory.
The injured women were taken to Derik National Hospital for treatment and were discharged shortly after.
On Saturday, Turkey launched new airstrikes across Northeast Syria, hitting locations in Qamishli, Derik, the countryside of Manbij, and northern Aleppo.
