Turkish shelling inures 2 children in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Two children were injured on Saturday in Turkish artillery shelling on the countryside of Manbij in northern Syria.

The Manbij Military Council said that Turkish forces, along with their affiliated armed opposition factions , aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), targeted the village of Awn Dadat in the west of Manbij, injuring two children.

Since early Oct. 24, Turkey has conducted extensive airstrikes targeting oil facilities, essential infrastructure, and vast areas across north and northeastern Syria, killing 14 people, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) stated.

The injured children, Mahmoud Shaaban bin Ali (5) and Muhammad Shaaban al-Afin (15), have received medical care. No material losses have been reported so far.

A local source told North Press that a Turkish drone targeted the Awn Dadat crossing, which connects areas run by the AANES with those controlled by the Turkish-backed SNA factions.
