12 killed, 25 injured in Turkish escalation across northern Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – 12 people were killed on Thursday and 25 others were injured in escalating Turkish attacks across northern and northeastern Syria.

In the northern countryside of Aleppo, the victims include five-year-old Malak Shiyar, her mother Kurdistan Khalil Waqas, 32, Ibrahim Muhammad Sheikho, 55, and Muhammad Waqfi Muhammad, 47.

Meanwhile, in northeastern Syria, Families of Martyrs, an institution affiliated with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) identified seven gas station workers killed in Turkish shelling in the countryside of al-Malikiyah (Derik).

The victims are Mizer al-Hassan, 28), Issam al-Sibaih, 32, Atallah al-Khedr, 48, Bashar al-Owaid, 17, Mahmoud al-Hussein, 29, Fadel al-Khadaan (age unknown), and Elias Issa, 31.

Additionally, the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) confirmed the death of one of their members, Hanoush Beki, following Turkish bombardment in Kobani.
