Turkey sends fresh military reinforcements to NW Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces sent on Sunday new military reinforcements to their bases in Idlib Governorate in Northwest Syria, military sources told North Press.
The reinforcements, that reached on Sunday morning, included 11 trucks and military vehicles, and arrived in the village of al-Mastouma in the southern countryside of Idlib.
An official in the al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, a group of armed factions, said that since Sep. 17, the Turkish forces has brought dozens of trucks and military vehicles to observation points in Northwest Syria.
According to the official, the reinforcements consisted of 52 military vehicles and trucks loaded with logistical supplies.
These reinforcements were distributed to observation points overlooking the M5 Highway, along the city of Saraqib and the town of Taftanaz, east of Idlib and west of Hama, as well as observation points in Jabal Saman and near the city of al-Atarib, west of Aleppo.
