Lebanese Hezbollah confirms Nasrallah’s death

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Lebanese Hezbollah confirmed on Saturday the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon.

In a statement, the group announced that Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli strike targeting its headquarters in Beirut on Friday.

The news follows an earlier statement from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday, claiming responsibility for what they described as the “elimination” of Nasrallah.

“Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has joined the ranks of the immortal martyrs he led for over 30 years,” the group said in a statement, marking the end of his long leadership.
