Israeli airstrike on Damascus kills 5 government soldiers

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces conducted on Friday dawn an airstrike on Damascus countryside, southern Syria, killing five soldiers.

Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported that the Israeli forces conducted an airstrike on a military site of the government forces on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

The airstrike targeted a site of the government forces near Kfeir Yabous area on the border with Lebanon, SANA cited a military source as saying.

The airstrike resulted in the killing of five soldiers of the government forces and the injury of another.
