SDF captures 2 ISIS militants in Syria’s Hasakah
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Monday the capture of two militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) in two separate security operations in the countryside of Hasakah, Northeast Syria.
The SDF stated that their forces conducted the operations in coordination with the U.S.-led Global Coalition to Defeat Islamic State (ISIS).
In a statement published on their official website, the SDF reported that SDF’s Military Operations Teams (MOT) conducted two tactical security operations in the countryside of Hasakah, targeting two ISIS terrorists.
“The first operation was conducted in the al-Arisha village and targeted the ISIS terrorist Muhammad Muhammad, originally from Al-Maraya village in Deir Ezzor,” the SDF’s statement read.
Regarding the second operation, the SDF added that their “forces captured the ISIS terrorist Hussein Musa in the village of Abyad.”
