Unknown gunmen kill 2 men in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Unknown gunmen killed early on Saturday two men in Daraa Governorate, southern Syria amid security chaos and control disputes between the Syrian government forces and local armed groups.

A local source told North Press that Ayman Adel Al-Rifai and Ahmad Muhammad Al-Rifai were killed on the road connecting the city of al-Hirak and the town of Eastern Ghariyah in the eastern Daraa countryside.

The two young men hail from the town of Ghariyeh and had never joined any government or local armed factions, according to the source.

Locals reported that attacks of armed robbery had previously occurred on the same road.

On Friday, the bodies of two individuals were found in the countryside of Daraa.

Unidentified individuals killed Fawzat Abu Zaid on the road between the town of Dael and the city of Tafas.

Meanwhile the second body, Ahmad Zidan Al-Fahouri, was found dead on the road between the towns of Abtaa and Sheikh Maskin.
