Armed group loots NGO workers in Syria’s Hawl Camp

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – An armed group looted on Sunday morning funds, identification documents and mobile telephones of two workers of a non-governmental international organization in Northeast Syria.  

The armed group looted the two workers of Save the Children while they were on their way to Hawl Camp in Hasakah Governorate, Northeast Syria.

A source familiar with the organization said the group intercepted the car that was transporting the workers to the camp.  

The source added that the incident took place around 6 a.m. (local time), and that the armed group seized money, mobile phones and identification documents of the workers of the Save the Children.
