DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Jordanian army announced on Thursday thwarting an attempt to smuggle 3,990 captagon pills loaded in a projectile, coming from Syria.

An official military source of the General Command of the Jordanian army told official news agency Petra that “The border guard forces detected an attempt of a projectile to illegally cross the border from Syrian territory to Jordan.”

The source added that “rules of engagement were applied and the flying object was shot down inside Jordanian soil.”

“The projectile carried 4 bags of narcotic substances containing 3,990 Captagon pills, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities,” the source noted.
