Hospital in NE Syria opens cardiac, ophthalmic clinics
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The administration of the Heart and Eye Hospital in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, inaugurated on Thursday cardiac and ophthalmic clinics within the hospital.
These clinics were established by the hospital administration and the health institution of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).
The clinics are considered a part of the outpatient department at the Heart and Eye Private Hospital, the only hospital in northeastern Syria terms of the services provided. Patients will be received starting from the opening date.
Dr. Muhammad Abdi, the head of the Cardiology and Catheterization Department at the Heart and Eye Hospital, said that the opening of the clinics had been planned for a long time but was delayed.
He added to North Press that the clinics are open six days a week from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and a specialized doctor is present every day during working hours.
Abdi pointed out that the cost of any procedure, examination, or anything else is one-fourth of its value in other private hospitals or clinics.
