Clashes between SNA factions cause casualties in Syria’s Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Intense clashes erupted on Sunday between the Turkish-backed Hamzat Division and al-Jabha al-Shamiya (Levant Front) in the city of al-Bab, east of Aleppo, northwest Syria, resulting in the killing of an IDP and the injury of two militants of the Hamzat Division.
A military source told North Press that the clashes took place in al-Sina’a neighborhood in al-Bab, leading to the killing of a young man named Fadi al-Masri, an IDP from Homs Governorate, central Syria, and the serious injury of two militants of the Hamzat Division.
The source also mentioned that the injured were transported to al-Bab Hospital amidst military alertness by the Military Police, affiliated with the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), at the scene of the incident.
The city of al-Bab has been under the control of the SNA factions since 2017.
