HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Iraq repatriated on Saturday 150 families linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) from Hawl Camp, northeast Syria, towards al-Jada’a camp, south of Mosul.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Iraqi security leadership, and the camp administration coordinated the operation under the supervision of the U.S.-led Global Coalition forces.
The supervisor in charge of the operation told North Press,”150 families, consisting of 620 individuals from several Iraqi cities, have left Hawl Camp and are heading to al-Jada’a camp.”
He added that after the arrival of the Iraqi refugees at al-Jada’a camp, all of them will be returned to their original cities and towns.
