Turkish-backed SNA militants kill, injure 9 people in Syria’s Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Five people were killed, including two children, on Friday and four others were injured by militants of the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions in Azaz, a region lies to the north of the city of Aleppo in northwestern Syria.
A military source from the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) told North Press that an SNA faction opened fire on people while trying to enter Azaz region to cross the border to Turkey.
The firing resulted in the killing of five people, including two children, and the injury of four others, the source added.
The people were coming from areas held by the Syrian government, according to the source.
Areas held by the SNA factions witness frequent incidents of killing as the states of insecurity and chaos continue in those areas.
The city of Azaz and its countryside have been under the occupation of the Turkish forces and their affiliated SNA factions since July 2012.
