IRGC militants killed in IED blast in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified individuals killed on Monday militants in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) by targeting their vehicle with an IED in a village south of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A military source within the IRGC told North Press that unknown gunmen targeted a military vehicle with an IED on the main road near the entrance of Sholah village, south of Deir ez-Zor.
The attack resulted in the killing of four militants and the injury of three others, the source added.
Unidentified gunmen killed on the same day a militant affiliated with the Iranian-backed Liwa Fatemiyoun in the town of al-Mayadin in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
