UAE sends huge medical aid to Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Syria’s Ministry of Health received on Wednesday huge medical aid and equipment provided by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) via the port and International Airport of Latakia Governorate, western Syria.

Syria’s state-run news agency SANA stated, “Plane loaded with medicines, provided by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority arrived Wednesday in Latakia International Airport.”

The ship contains “about 196 tons of medicines and medical equipment, along with 10 buses with a capacity of 36 passengers to transport medical staff working in hospitals,” the source added.
