New Israeli airstrike hits town near Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – A new Israeli airstrike targeted on Wednesday the town of Dimas in northwest of Damascus in Rif Dimashq Governorate.

Syrian government-affiliated outlets said that preliminary information indicates that Israeli warplane launched missiles from the direction of the Golan Heights and targeted Dimas and other areas in Rif Dimashq.

Earlier on Wednesday, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building in the Kafr Souseh neighborhood in the Syrian capital of Damascus, killing two civilians and wounding another, according to state-run SANA news agency.

The outlets claimed that Syrian air defense systems managed to shoot down most of the missiles.
