Turkish drone bombs center for SDF war-wounded in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone bombed on Sunday a building for wounded fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria.

An official in the targeted center told North Press that a Turkish drone bombed the center and resulted in casualties without giving further details.

The center, which is an association that cares for SDF fighters wounded in the fight against ISIS in northeast Syria, was opened in 2020 in Qamishli city. It also provides rehabilitation and training programs for the fighters.

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) and the SDF have not commented on the incident yet.
