Turkey, SNA shell Syria’s Manbij, cause material damage

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), shelled on Sunday a village in Manbij countryside, northern Syria.

Manbij Military Council said, in a statement, that the Turkish forces targeted the village of Sayada, north of Manbij, with mortar and artillery shells from the Turkish base in the village of Sheikh Nasser, north of the city.

Turkey repeatedly target cities and towns northern Syria with drones, airstrikes, artillery shells and heavy weapons, causing casualties and material damage, especially in population property.

The council added that the shelling caused damages to civilians’ property.
