Iranian-backed militias target Israel’s Haifa Port

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The so-called Islamic Resistance in Iraq, Iranian-backed militias, announced on Thursday that it targeted a port in Israel.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said that it targeted the Port of Haifa in Israel using drones in response to what it described as massacres committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.

On Jan. 28, three U.S. troops were killed and 34 others were injured in a one-way drone attack that hit an American base in northeastern Jordan, near the Syrian border, said the U.S. Central Command in a press release. Hours after the attack, Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for it.

On Jan. 30, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced the suspension of all of its military and security operations against U.S. bases in Syria and Iraq.
