Syrian soldier injured in Turkish drone strike in Syria’s Kobani
KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – A soldier of the Syrian government forces was injured on Thursday due to a Turkish drone strike on a military checkpoint in the eastern countryside of the city of Kobani, northern Syria.
A local source told North Press that the attack targeted the military checkpoint of the government forces in the village of Koran east of Kobani, with three shells.
The source explained that the attack resulted in the injury of a soldier of the government forces, whose condition is stable.
On Jan. 13, a Turkish drone targeted a military checkpoint of the government forces in the village of Kharabisan Fouqani, 25 km east of Kobani, with three strikes.
