Turkish drones target 3 sites in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish drone strikes targeted on Sunday three sites in the city of Kobani, northern Syria.

A local source told North Press that a Turkish drone strike targeted a power substation in the city.

The source added that Turkish drones had targeted earlier two sites, a car repair shop near the southern entrance of the city and a facility previously used as a cement factory in the village of Chalabiy in the south of Kobani.

The source could not confirm the extent of damage to the power substation. Smoke plumes rose from the targeted site, the source added.

Turkey has resumed targeting service facilities and vital infrastructure in northeastern Syria for the past two days.
