Unknown gunmen attack SDF posts in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen attacked on Friday night posts and patrols of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.
A military source of the SDF said unidentified gunmen attacked a patrol of their forces on the road linking the town of Sabha with that of Burayha in the east of Deir ez-Zor, using machine guns.
The attack resulted in no casualties, according to the source.
In the town of Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor, unknown gunmen attacked two posts of the SDF. The attack led to the outbreak of clashes between the SDF fighters and the gunmen forcing the latter to withdraw, the source added.
In the western town of Deir ez-Zor, unknown gunmen attacked a checkpoint point of the SDF in the town of al-Keber, leaving material damage.
