Turkish attacks hit 5 sites in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, several sites in the city of Kobani and its countryside, northern Syria, were targeted by Turkish drone strikes.

Since Dec. 23, Turkey has been launching a brutal bombardment campaign, targeting crucial facilities in northern and northeastern Syria.

On Monday, the Turkish bombardment hit the Mashta al-Nour clinic in the city of Kobani, which is supported by Médecins du Monde (MDM) Organization.

Local sources told North Press that Turkish drone strikes targeted the Kobani Woodland, west of the city, and farmlands to the east.

Other sources noted that a drone attack hit a position south of the city, setting fire to a prefabricated room. Another attack targeted a site near the village of Halnaj, 4 kilometers south of the city, while a third one struck the vicinity of the village of Dhiban, east of Kobani.
