Turkish drone strikes target several sites in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) –Turkish drones targeted on Monday morning industrial and service facilities in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria.
The strikes targeted an industrial facility in the Allaya neighborhood near a prison detaining militants of the Islamic State (ISIS).
Turkish aircraft targeted several locations in Qamishli and its countryside, including a train station, the village of Segerka in the east of the city, an electricity station, an industrial facility, a cement facility, and the vicinity of a cemetery for fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fallen in the fight against ISIS.
The strikes are still ongoing and no confirmed reports of casualties have been obtained.
Hours earlier, Turkish strikes also targeted a car garage in the city of Kobani, northern Syria, injuring two workers.
