2 civilians wounded in Turkish airstrike on Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – Two civilians were wounded on Monday morning as a result of a Turkish airstrike on the city of Kobani in northern Syria.

North Press correspondent cited a local source as saying that a Turkish drone bombed a parking garage in the city of Kobani.

The correspondent added that the airstrike caused the injury of two workers in the garage and material damage.

According to medical sources, the two workers were hospitalized and are in good condition.

On Dec. 23, Turkish warplanes carried out several airstrikes targeting electricity generating stations and oil fields in the countryside of the cities of Qamishli and Derik (al-Malikiyah) in northeastern Syria depriving more than 2,500 villages and towns of electricity.
