Motorcycle explodes in Syria’s Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, a motorcycle exploded due to a planted explosive device in the city of Afrin, northwest Syria, with no reports about casualties.
The city of Afrin, along with several other cities under the control of Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), is witnessing a state of chaos, particularly after the infiltration of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS – formerly al-Nusra Front) among those factions.
Sources from North Press in Afrin stated that “the motorcycle exploded near the Newroz roundabout in the center of Afrin, which is controlled by the SNA factions.”
They added that, so far, there have been no reports of injuries. Only material damage was reported.
