Unknown gunmen target SDF checkpoints in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unknown gunmen attacked on Tuesday night two military checkpoints of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria.

A local source of the SDF told North Press that the assailants targeted a checkpoint of the SDF at the entrance of the village of Burayha in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, causing no casualties.

Another attack was also carried out by unknown people with machinegun at a checkpoint in the town of Hawaij in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, causing material damage, the source added.
