2 government soldiers injured in clash in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A militant of the National Defense Forces (NDF) injures two members of the Military Police in an armed clash in the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria. Both groups are affiliated with the Syrian government forces.
A security source told North Press that a patrol of the military police raided on Sunday the house of an NDF militant in al-Jibela neighborhood in Deir ez-Zor, to arrest him over drug trafficking and dealing with narcotics.
During the raid, the NDF militant opened fire on the patrol, as a result, two members of the military police were injured, whereas the militant managed to escape.
